ATP-CGPharm Group is proud to present the completion of the Laboratoire de Thérapie Cellulaire du Diabète (LTCD) at the Centre européen d’étude du Diabète – CeeD (CeeD) on the site of the Hautepierre Hospital in Strasbourg.
CeeD called on ATP-CGPharm Group to design and build the LTCD’s B, C and D class clean rooms, in compliance with current French and European standards and directives: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), the French National Authority for Health (HAS), the French Biomedicine Agency (ABM), etc., enabling the production of sterile pancreatic islet bags in a controlled environment.
This project will enable CeeD to transpose its know-how and mastery of the pancreatic islet isolation technique developed in research grade to a clinical level approved by the Agence Nationale de la Sécurité du Médicament (ANSM), and thus improve the quality of life of type 1 diabetic patients (T1DM).
With this in mind, Strasbourg University Hospital, a recognized islet transplantation center, has joined forces with CeeD to create the first pancreatic islet isolation center in the “Grand Est” region, and more specifically in Strasbourg.
What is our role in this type of project?
ATP-CGPharm Group offers its customers a complete engineering service, from feasibility study to qualification/validation, including all phases of design, planning and implementation, site supervision and acceptance. We offer a turnkey service for the support and realization of projects of all sizes, from research or quality control laboratories to complete production plants (premises, installations, equipment).
